Incredible Chalk Drawings

This is a collection of amazing sidewalk drawings done with chalk in 3D. Your mind may be blown after beholding these remarkable works of illusion art. You have to position the camera to be from the exact position for it to look good like this does. Similar to the other incredible sidewalk chalk drawings, you must understand that for the perspective illusion to work, the drawing in real life is much more stretched out that you would think it is.  This is not really news but something to just give everyone who sees it just some pleasure.  You can believe that it is just chalk drawings.  Can you imagine coming across these chalk drawings as you go for a walk down the street.  Just take a few minutes and enjoy something that too some very talented people hours to create.  Enjoy. Share this amazing story and bring a little enjoyment to your friends and families.

Little Boy with A Big Heart Giving Smiles

Jaden Hayes lost both of his parents at a young age. But he is determined to live life with joy. As Steve Hartman shows us, the six-year-old is embarking on a mission to turn frowns into smiles.  This little guy got the idea that he was just was so tired of seeing people sad.  He wanted to see people happy again.  So,  he told his aunt that he wanted to share some joy with people around his community.  He asked her to get some small toys.  They got some beads, some rubber ducks and lots of small toys.  He just waits on the sidewalk with his aunt and watches for people without smiles.  That is when he goes up and just gives them a toy.  He loves the surprised looks and of course, the smiles.  What a wonderful little man.  He cares about people and with all he has gone through he just wants to bring joy to people.  What a wonderful heart he has for others.  Thank you Jaden for showing us all how we should take care of others.

Taps for the Neighborhood

What a beautiful way to end the day.  Here is Tacoma, Washington in this neighborhood they have Don Britton who at sunset everyday, shares his talent with his neighbors.  Don checks the paper everyday to find out what time sunset will come today. He then practices to make sure that his song today is the best it can be.  Taps may have been heard before but ot hear it each day at sunset in your neighborhood it amazing. He says he does it to honor our troops.  The neighbors don’t care why.  They are all just touched with the beauty of the song.  Some folks wondered what they were hearing and who was doing it.  Many stop as soon as they hear the first note and stand at attention during the entire song.  It is a simple gesture that means so much to all his neighbors.  Thank you so much Don.  Your gift is very special to the people of Tacoma and now to all of us who have experienced this beautiful tribute.

89 year old Bridesmaid

What a great choice for a bridesmaid!!  When Pennsylvania bride Christine Quinn tied the knot in May she asked one of her best friends, “Nana Betty,” to be part of her big day. Quinn told BuzzFeed Life that choosing Nana Betty as a bridesmaid was an easy decision.
“Who doesn’t want her best friend standing beside her on her wedding day? Not to mention all of my friends love my Nana as well, so we all had a great time planning and spending time together,” she told BuzzFeed Life.  Nana Betty wasn’t immediately convinced her granddaughter actually wanted her in the wedding.
“She asked me about 10 times, ‘Are you sure?’ and ‘Why would you want an old lady in your bridal party?’” Quinn told the Huffington Post.  From the wedding photos taken by Sweetwater Photography, it is clear that Nana Betty fit right in with the bridal party.  “Spending the entire day with Nana by my side as I married the love of my life was all I could ask of her,” Quinn told BuzzFeed Life.   Nana Betty even joined the bridal party on the party bus.  What a great day for everyone.  Family is the most important part of a wedding.

She finished her bucket list.

Shirley is 94.  She lives at a retirement home and seems to be the social director.  She loves to run the entertainment there at the retirement center.  From Bingo to Concentration all together with prizes.  She even got to meet her game show heroes Pat and Vanna. She said they were very nice. She keeps very active including even painting that she used to do in her younger days.  She still spends time with her family.  She had 3 children and has plenty of grandchildren.  She had been married for 57 years.  She still has one thing on her bucket list.  She wanted to buy 5 seconds of commercial time to create an ad for TV.  Yes, a commercial with just 3 words.  Love One Another.  She just wants to get that message out.  Now her bucket list is complete now that this report was shown on TV.  You are amazing Shirley.  I hope people listen to your message and take it to heart.  That is one message that can’t be said too many times.  Thank you for sharing your life with us.

Music Makes Everyone Happy

Music makes the world go around.  Here is a video that just makes you smile.  Imagine walking into an elevator with the world troubles on your heart.  All of a sudden the other people in the elevator break out into song.  What could be better.   “Service is a smile. It is an acknowledging wave, a reaching handshake, a friendly wink, and a warm hug. It’s these simple acts that matter most…” – Richelle E. Goodrich

Whether we are going to school or work, Mondays can be pretty tough. But one small act of kindness or care can make a difference in your day. Jubilee Project is excited to share their latest test project where they surprised people in the elevator with a little concert and a little bit of dancing from the talented Lana McKissack and Nick Riedell. What a great idea to share your talent in music with strangers that just happen along. We hope this video brings you some laughter and joy and remember, one small gesture can be of such great encouragement to someone around you.

A Perfect Example

This video is short and to the point.  It is a perfect example of how to treat people. It is about a professional wrestler (Titus O’Neil) who (by caring for people) showed a local San Diego restaurant how to treat people better.  On Friday, O’Neil treated a pair of homeless people to a meal at a Yard House restaurant. The experience wasn’t ideal, but instead of stomping his feet, O’Neil decided to prove a point. He returned to the same restaurant on Saturday, this time with a lot more of those less fortunate.  And based on his Instagram post, it went a lot better: Completely Different Response than Last night at the @YardHouse in San Diego I’m Not a Fan of Injustice or Prejudice of any sort towards Anybody. My Mother Raised Me with the Help of many others from all walks of life and there were many Times that I had to go without as a youth because of A Lack of Financial resources. People will categorize those that they can’t relate to criticize those that stand up and speak out against what’s wrong all until it directly affects them. I’m not the richest man in the world, but Money,Fame and Status have never held me Bondage because at the end of the day I’ve Gone without before and God has always provided for me. Now I have the opportunity to do the exact thing that others did for me when I had nothing to give them in return….LOVE OTHERS!!! Thanks to those that accepted Help & Those that Treated my guest at lunch as Humans,Patrons and Gods People.  Way to go

A Powerful Send-Off

Goosebumps ahead… PNBHS Students pay tribute to their fallen rugby coach and teacher Dawson Tamatea. Thousands of high school students in New Zealand performed a traditional haka dance as a send-off for a beloved teacher who died. Video shows at least 1,700 students from Palmerston North Boys’ High School on the country’s North Island performing the dance at the funeral service of Dawson Tamatea, who died on July 20. He was a physical education and mathematics teacher at the school for almost 30 years, a spokeswoman told ABC News. What a send off for this beloved teacher.  ”We are extremely proud of our boys’ performance and we know that Mr. Tamatea would be, too,” the school wrote on its website. Haka is an ancestral war dance performed by the Maori people of New Zealand. The rugby team “All Blacks” are famous for performing the dance before their games. ”This complex dance is an expression of the passion, vigour and identity of the race,” according to a description on the All Blacks’s website, and “a custom of high social importance in the welcoming and entertainment of visitors.” According to the school, Tamatea was also involved in my extra curricular activities and sports, including tennis, basketball, and softball teams at the school.Mr. Tamatea’s passing will be difficult for many young men with whom he has had a close association as either a teacher, coach, manager or camp leader, as well as for many of our teachers who have known him for a long period of time. How wonderful to see the respect these young men had for their teacher.  RIP Mr. Tamatea.

Mail Carrier Hero

A Hope Hull man is thanking a postal worker for saving his life following a horrific ordeal that left him lying wounded on the floor of his house for ten days. The man was unable to get help after a terrible fall and found different ways to stay alive until his mail carrier found him. Cissy Cartwright, who has been delivering mail for more than 20 years, knew something wasn’t right. Tommy Hope, 66, home sits back off the road in a secluded rural area. When she pulled up he yelled back to her for help. She found him on the floor, dehydrated and injured and learned that he’d been there for more than a week. She called 911 and waited with him until an ambulance arrived. Hope, who does not have immediate family nearby, fell inside his home on July 4th, suffering broken bones in his arm and other injuries to his leg and hip. He couldn’t get to his phone to make any calls. It was a very good thing that she came along when she did.  Without her checking on him who knows what would have come of Tommy Hope.  Thank you Cissy for caring enough to check on the people on your route.

Boy Who Loves to Read

This boy takes reading more serious than most. Meet a 12-year-old Utah boy whose passion for reading is getting international attention. Mathew Flores is a typical 12-year-old. He loves Legos. He also loves to read. “I just usually read the newspapers”, he said. He even loves to read what most consider junk mail. That’s what Mathew was doing when Ron Lynch saw him.  ”A young man was standing here reading junk mail,” said Lynch. As Lynch, who works for the Sandy Post Office, delivered mail Mathew asked him if he had any extra. Lynch found out Mathew reads newspapers because he doesn’t have any books. ” I asked him about going to the library and he said he couldn’t afford the bus pass.” Lynch discovered. Mathew’s situation tugged at Lynchs heartstrings.  He was shocked to hear that a 12-years-old who didn’t want electronics, he didn’t want to sit in front of the TV playing games all day. This kid just wanted to read. So Lynch posted a picture of Mathew on Facebook.  I hoped that  maybe a few of his friends might give him some books.  He asked his friends to send the boy some books thinking he might end up with 50 or 60 books. But his plea went worldwide. He’s heard from the UK, from Australia and even from India. Mathew said he wants to read every book. “It’s super fun and it’s interesting. Plus it gets you smarter,” he said. And Mathew wants to share them with other kids too, I don’t even know. I’m just super happy.” What an awesome gift to this little guy.
